Public Art & Creative Places
of Darlington County
Celebrates creativity in the spaces we share every day, from downtown streets and parks to libraries, schools, and businesses. Led by Black Creek Arts Council, this countywide initiative documents, supports, and connects existing public artwork across Darlington County.
Our goal is simple: make art visible, accessible, and meaningful for everyone.
What Is Public Art?
Public art includes original artwork located in publicly accessible places, whether permanent, temporary, or rotating.
This can include:
• Murals
• Sculptures
• Monuments & memorials
• Temporary installations
If artwork can be enjoyed by the public, it belongs here.
